This program is designed to guide its students through the key systems that make OSFUSA what it is, with a special focus on our Congress and how you can become an effective and respected lawmaker in it. The program will be broken down into four structured lessons followed by final mock session, each with its own dedicated document linked below. The lessons are as follows: 

1) Introduction to OSFUSA Learn the values, systems, and expectations that define our community. 

2) Introduction to Congress Understand the purpose of Congress, how it operates, and why it’s a central part of OSFUSA. 

3) The House of Representatives and Senate Learn how the House and Senate functions, how to become a Congressman, and what powers and responsibilities you’ll have and how floor proceedings work 

4) Mock House Session Put everything into practice in a simulated congressional session where you’ll propose , debate and vote on legislation. After every lesson the students will complete a Kahoot to verify their knowledge of the topics they've learned about. Those who don't do good on the kahoot will have to fill a google form exam about the covered topics.
